Practical, intensive, and invaluable – the Kantar internship program places our interns in the fast-paced world of market research, challenging and requiring them to use their various skills and knowledge to support our team of market researchers, who are each experts in the industries they specialize in. So, while our interns support us in the areas of desk research, data analysis, FGDs, fieldwork, translations, business trips, among many others, they also get to learn about the market research process in various industries as well as about market trends happening all around the world.
For those who demonstrate exceptional professionalism, dedication, and capability throughout the course of the program, the opportunity for further employment is available, either through a contract extension, or if you pass through all stages of the recruitment process, a full time position as a research executive. And of course, throughout your internship program and beyond, Kantar will act as a valuable source of reference and recommendation for your future career and academic endeavors.
Due to the nature of the work, applicants who possess a firm grasp of both written and spoken English and Korean are highly preferred. Additionally, we look for individuals who are capable of adapting to a fast-paced, intensive work environment, who are mature, responsible, and demonstrate a high degree of professionalism. Proficiency in MS programs also required (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
Kantar interns will be compensated 1,550,000 KRW/month in the beginning, and are expected to follow the same rules and regulations that apply to our full time staff; they must always be punctual and behave diligently. Those who are not fully committed or are disruptive to others may be asked to leave without prior notice.
Lastly, as our interns will directly interact with clients, research participants, fellow Kantar associates, and other visitors, they are expected to represent the company and leave a positive impression on anyone they meet at all times.
